Cineka
We were big fans of Cineka before they chose us to build their first website. This small movie theater in Guadalajara had a big social following and a great philosophy to match, but it relied on Instagram alone to promote its showings, and ticket sales ran through a Google Form.

Listings and tickets
Using Next.js, Node and React, we built a new site around a listings page with filters, so visitors can see what's playing today, this week, or on whichever day they're planning a trip to the movies. We connected Openpay so customers can pay by card, with the money going straight to Cineka's account.
An admin console made for the team
We built a bespoke administration console where the Cineka team uploads new movies and showings, checks which tickets have sold, updates schedules, and adds trailers, posters, synopses and staff recommendations to each movie.
Easy to find, beyond social media
We paid close attention to SEO so prospective moviegoers can find Cineka easily, giving the theater an online presence it controls instead of depending on social media alone.
And everything else
The site also tells the story of the business, introduces Cineka's collaborators with short bios, and has a form for booking one of the screening rooms for private events and showings. And of course, a blog for announcing new offerings, promotions and special events.
